  • THE ACADEMIC COMPLEX

    The academic complex has ample number of lecture-halls with comfortable furniture for the students and computer oriented instructional facility for the teaching staff. Besides, lecture-halls there are separate halls for tutorials and specially designed rooms for seminars and conference, a must requirement for generating free flow of new ideas. The academic block has Head of Department's & Teachers cubical for need based off the class guidance to individual student and also to give a place of pride to Heads of Departments.

    S.D. Group of College is renowned for producing achievers in sports. The college has a splendid playground for Cricket. Football, Hockey, Tennis, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Handball, Basket Ball and Badminton. Games are played regularly and every student is expected to play at least one game. After the completion of the admission process, college teams are announced on the basis of the trials and a rigorous selection process, Continues Inquiry with college student of all background & abilities to provide inclusive outdoor reaction & experiential education programme. Adventurous activities are cited as among the best games for students who wants to improve their brain functioning. Students can feel some positive benefits. Multitasking skill, helps in overcoming dyslexia, reduce impulsiveness, makes the brain active & boosts concentration while playing these kind of games.

    Student Favourite Place to Hangout. Canteen is the place where students of all courses interact with each other and enjoy the good food after a long hectic session in the tutorial class at college, students feel lethargic and feel a little withdrawn from study, our canteen is a huge extensive region encompassed by greenery, where a mixture of refreshment are accessible at reasonable rates.

    Language Lab is fully equipped with communication aids and equipments. It is a state-of-the-art lab operated and managed by experienced faculty members. Students are given valuable tips which help them in becoming experts in their respective fields.

    Students are taken for educational excursions on regular basis to various places of interest to bridge the gap between Industry Academic interface. This brings more interaction of students with nature and society and thus helps in their overall development.

    Vision without an action is merely a dream. Action without a vision is just pass time. Vision with action can change the worth. SDCMS organizes summer training to develop & maintain close industry interaction. It also gives an opportunity to each student to touch upon the hard core realities of a true working environment. This also becomes a building block for students to form their perception about the corporate culture.

  • ACHIEVEMENTS


    NANHE PANKH

    According to international human rights law, primary education shall be compulsory and free of charge. Secondary and higher education shall be made progressively free of charge. Free education is fundamental that guarantees everyone to have access to education. However, in many developing countries families often cannot afford to send their children to school that leaves millions of children deprived of education.

    To fulfill the corporate social responsibility, an initiative has been taken by S.D. College Association under the banner “NANHE PANKH” where free education has to be imparted to the weaker sections of the society in which every year the association will adopt six children from 6th standard till their post graduation courses. The students will be provided Rs. 1000 per month scholarship along with free books and uniform.
     

    OLYMPICS

    Well, the Olympics are undoubtedly strong medium that provide grounds for athletes to show their zeal. It gives them the opportunity to compete against athletes of a similar level on an international stage. This gives them the opportunity to compare themselves with each other and to determine how good they are in Olympics. This is only achievable through the sheer scale of the Olympics and the number of sports activities involved.

    S.D. College Association has decided to organize Muzaffarnagar Olympics every year. S.D.C.A organizes a three days Olympics in which students participate from schools across the city. Such field events explore the hidden talents of the region and bring out the talented athletes on a bigger platform thereby giving them an opportunity to groom themselves for higher level of sports.
     

    NATIONAL CONFERENCE

    The Conference has been a genuine effort to address all the current issues thereby contributing substantially in the development process and inclusive growth of the nation. Every year S.D. Group of Colleges provides a platform by organizing a conference wherein large number of academicians, thinkers and planners engage in bringing significant changes in the development process by suggesting innovative practices through their active participation.
     

    BLOOD DONATION CAMP

    Officials of the district administration and health department have launched a series of awareness campaign with an objective to encourage masses, especially youngsters for voluntary blood donation. The World Blood Donation Day is observed on June 14 every year and is dedicated to people who save many lives by donating blood.

    S.D. Group of College organizes Blood Donation Camps regularly in which large number of bold units were donated which were found pure by the blood bank. Blood donors have been given a Certificate and a Card with the help of which they would be able to get blood of any group without paying a single penny.

  • Agaaz – 2024 Annual festival “Agaaz – 2024” with colorful cultural programs under the aegis of SD Group of Colleges."Agaaz - 2024" was organized under the aegis of SD Group of Colleges.   • Live telecast of Indian Economy Interim Budget 2024-25 A live telecast of the Interim Budget 2024-25 was shown in the MBA auditorium at S.D. College of Management Studies. The program was started by College Principal Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta. Students of MBA, MCA and BTC participated in the program. All the participants attracted everyone by presenting their views on the budget.more
  • DeMFIESTA - Finance A workshop on the topic "Finance" was organized under DeMFIESTA by the students of MBA department under IQAC at SD College of Management Studies. In which the following activities were given to MBA students. In which they participated with great enthusiasm. This is the second activity of the process going on from December to January. more
  • DeMFIESTA - Design Thinking and Management Today, on 22 December 2023, DeMFIESTA program was organized on the subject of Design Thinking and Management for the students of MBA department under IQAC at SD College of Management Studies. In which the various activities were performed by MBA students. In which they participated with great enthusiasm. First of all, the program was inaugurated by College Principal Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta and spokesperson Ritu Mittal by lighting the lamp infront of the idol of Maa Saraswati.more
