  • S.D. College of Management Studies where highly energetic students toil to win appreciation for their talents. College events are the most effective way of bringing youth under the same platform, enhance social interaction and facilitate exchange of cultural ideas and thoughts. Although college events are an 'only students' zone, hard working students from every college, collaborate with their teachers and faculty members too in their efforts to make their college events the best in the city. Let's take a look at some of the most popular college events organised in our College.


    On 31st March, 2010, an inter collegiate AD MAD SHOW was conducted at S.D. College of Management Studies( M.B.A. & M.C.A Dept.). It was a great effort from the side of students to bring out their creativity in the word of advertisement and marketing. Students had prepared PPTs along with role plays.

    30 teams participated from different colleges of city and presented their ads on themes such as social, national interest, human beings interest etc. They opted topics such as “Aqua Purifier”, “Save trees”, “Jhatpat Lassi”, “Corruption” etc. Out of them, three teams won the prize at U.G. level and three teams at P.G. level.

    By Such kind of an activity, students felt pride and a sense of responsibility towards society.


    Biz Quiz

    An intra campus BIZ QUIZ contest was organized in April, 2010 in which teams from whole campus participated to check the knowledge of students about the present business scenario. In this contest M.B.A first year students won. The quiz contest had very interesting rounds like Identifying business logos, management concepts, business aptitude, general knowledge etc. The quiz preceded with a whole one month news room session in which students were exposed to the news of different sections of Economic Times.



    N’SPICE 2010 was an endeavor to explore the basic dimensions of student’s technical capabilities and to provide the participants with hands- on approach on various platforms. There were more than 300 participants from various colleges who participated in various events like Prastutikaran, Nirman, Spardha, Nirdishtikarn as well as software mela.

    This fiesta has provided a National level platform to augment their knowledge and given them requisite challenges and counseling for new inventions.

  • GLITZ’ 11


    S. D. College of Management Studies, Muzaffarnagar organized a two day Software Fair GLITZ’11 (National Software & Information Service Fair) from March 26-27, 2011. The effort is an endeavor to explore the basic dimensions of student’s technical capabilities and to provide the participants with hands-on approach on various platforms. This fair enriched us with many innovative ideas.


    Our students also get chance to take part in the various events organized at other colleges.




    On 15 October 2011, our students participated in JPIET, Meerut- TECHSPARK 2011, a national level Technical fest in which our students won first prize in PRASTUTI (Paper & Poster Presentation) as well as in SOFT UPGAM (Software Presentation).



    In November 2011, our students participated in ‘Vidya School of business management fest’ in which our team won two prizes. First prize in PRODUCT LAUNCH and second prize in TEAM BUILDING.

    Such events give a feel of achievement and confidence that they are working and performing at par with the students of other institutes.

    Our college years seem to have passed in a flurry of activities: courses attended, grades attained, extra-curricular activities, social events and lesson learned.

    You need to dare to dream to be all that you can be tomorrow.

    And my college gave me the strength to dare and think beyond the ordinary.

    I derived this strength from the amazing state-of-the-art infrastructure, intelligent faculties, very well managed industrial visits and some really well coordinated inter-college conferences. The institute has some brilliant tie-ups for its students to experience on-job-trainings. It has helped me face the corporate world with confidence and positivity. I am really fortunate to have attained this platform to take off and fly higher and bring back recognition and laurels to my institute.

  • Agaaz – 2024 Annual festival “Agaaz – 2024” with colorful cultural programs under the aegis of SD Group of Colleges."Agaaz - 2024" was organized under the aegis of SD Group of Colleges.   • Live telecast of Indian Economy Interim Budget 2024-25 A live telecast of the Interim Budget 2024-25 was shown in the MBA auditorium at S.D. College of Management Studies. The program was started by College Principal Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta. Students of MBA, MCA and BTC participated in the program. All the participants attracted everyone by presenting their views on the budget.more
  • DeMFIESTA - Finance A workshop on the topic "Finance" was organized under DeMFIESTA by the students of MBA department under IQAC at SD College of Management Studies. In which the following activities were given to MBA students. In which they participated with great enthusiasm. This is the second activity of the process going on from December to January. more
  • DeMFIESTA - Design Thinking and Management Today, on 22 December 2023, DeMFIESTA program was organized on the subject of Design Thinking and Management for the students of MBA department under IQAC at SD College of Management Studies. In which the various activities were performed by MBA students. In which they participated with great enthusiasm. First of all, the program was inaugurated by College Principal Dr. Alok Kumar Gupta and spokesperson Ritu Mittal by lighting the lamp infront of the idol of Maa Saraswati.more
