S.D. College of Management Studies a premier oldest management college in Meerut Commissionary successfully organized Milan-2011, its 1^st Alumni meet on 3^rd April 2011 in the college premises. Milan-2011, served as an essential interface among the pass out students and the present college students. Senior and Super Senior students successfully shared their experiences in the corporate would with juniors. A very informative discussion was also held on the issues such as emerging expectations of companies from managers and technocrats. Experience sharing Milan- 2011 turned out to be memorable event for every one present at the venue. Students from college studying courses like MBA, MCA, BBA, BCA, PGDM presented a glorious unforgettable bonanza of dance, music, college days (musical parody skit) and a very energetic CORPORATE FASHION SHOW, FUSION – a dance presentation by girls received a thunderous applause from the audiences. Alumni of college went cheering juniors for their power packed performance. Alumni were also given a stage sharing about their existing profession, company they are currently employed with and a message on well being if any. SDCMS Secretary Sh. Neeraj Kumar Ji with his wife Ms. Preeti Kumar along with other Management Committee members- Ms Neena Kumar, Mr Vinod Kumar, Mr Devendra Kumar blessed the students. Sh Neeraj Kumar Ji declares that 1^st Sunday of April month every year will be the ALUMNI MEETING DAY. The convener of Milan- 2011, Mr Ashwani Kumar (A.P.)  MCA Deptt. left no stone unturned in making the event a milestone.

Alumni of the college tipped their juniors about how sincere academics efforts and blessing of teachers act as a golden key in the corporate world. For a fresh MBA & MCA Alumni also applauded for the fraternity of SDCMS for organizing a very well knit & entertaining programme for them. It was quite endearing to present in front of the audience that our pass out students are doing extremely well in the professional life.

Some of the pass out students were :

·         Deepak Bansal-MBA currently working as State Head in Mahindra & Mahindra said that right Guidance of teachers and good learning environment of the college actually shapes his carrier.

·         Nadeem Chaudhary (Logistics Manager North, Jet Airways), an Alumni (MBA) said that better counseling and sincere placement effort from the side of college helped him in making a name for himself.

·         Ankur Singh Dinker a former MBA pass out, is of the opinion that regular PDP Programme in the college and short term research projects develops confidence in him to know the market in actual and this experience helps him lot in Nerolac Paints and Sukam Invertors when he becomes Marketing Manager there.

·         Vaibhav a MCA pass out working as team leader in HCL says that regular & right guidance of teacher helps him lot in facing the competition.

·         Also, Gunjan Arora, MBA pass out is presently working as Associate HR Manager in TCS felt very happy when she met her old friends & shared her old memories of college days.

·         Other pass out students like Vikas Verma MCA, Module Head in WIPRO, Gurgaon, Vikas Gupta MCA, Deputy General Manager IT, New Delhi, Deepak Kumar Singh MCA passout-2002, Sr. Software Engineer IBM India Pvt. Ltd. were  gathered to attend to programme.
